AN ACT relative to the elimination of certain special funds.

ANALYSIS

 

This bill repeals the radiation long-term care fund, the mosquito control fund, and the New Hampshire recovery monument special account, and transfers the remaining balance of the recovery monument account to the alcohol abuse prevention and treatment fund.

 

This bill is a request of the joint committee on dedicated funds pursuant to RSA 6:12-i.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

 

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty-Six

 

AN ACT relative to the elimination of certain special funds.

 

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

 

1  Balance of New Hampshire Recovery Monument Special Account; Lapse to Alcohol Abuse Prevention Fund.  On the effective date of this section, the balance of the New Hampshire recovery monument special account, formerly established in RSA 4:9-a, shall lapse to the alcohol abuse prevention fund established in RSA 176-A:1.  

2  Repeal. The following are repealed:  

I.  RSA 6:12, I(b)(20), relative to moneys received under RSA 125-F:11, II and IV, which shall be credited to the radiation long-term care fund.  

II.  RSA 6:12, I(b)(293), relative to moneys deposited into the mosquito control fund established under RSA 141-C:25.  

III.  RSA 6:12, I(b)(364), relative to moneys deposited into the New Hampshire recovery monument special account established in RSA 4:9-p.  

IV.  Paragraphs II and IV of RSA 125-F:11 relative to the direction of certain funds for deposit into the radiation long-term care fund.  

V.  RSA 141-C:25, establishing the mosquito control fund.  

3  Effective Date.  This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
