Enrolled Bill Amendment to HB 1681

AN ACT relative to the definition, inspection, and local approval of tiny houses and yurts as innovative housing structures.
Having considered the same, report the same with the following amendment, and the recommendation that the bill as amended ought to pass.

Explanation to Enrolled Bill Amendment to HB 1681
This enrolled bill amendment makes technical corrections to the bill and inserts contingent renumberings to avoid a conflict should HB 1195 of the 2026 regular legislative session and HB 244 of the 2026 regular legislative session become law.
Enrolled Bill Amendment to HB 1681
Amend RSA 674:84 as inserted by section 1 of the bill by replacing line 1 with the following:
674:83 Transportation of Mobile Structures.
Amend RSA 155-A:3-d, IV as inserted by section 2 of the bill by replacing line 1 with the following:

Amend the bill by inserting after section 6 the following and renumbering the original section 7 to read as 9:
7 Contingent Renumbering. If HB 1195 of the 2026 regular legislative session becomes law: RSA 674:81 through 674:83 as inserted by section 1 of this act shall be renumbered as RSA 674:82 through 674:84; and the cross-references to RSA 674:81 in RSA 155-A:3-d, I as inserted by section 2 of this act, RSA 485-A:41, VI, as inserted by section 3 of this act, and RSA 205-C:1, XI, as amended by section 5 of this act, shall be renumbered as RSA 674:82.
8 Contingent Renumbering. If HB 244 of the 2026 regular legislative session becomes law: RSA 155-A:3-d as inserted by section 2 of this act shall be renumbered as RSA 155-A:3-k.
