1 New Paragraph; Student Privacy; Limited Data Sharing for the Purpose of Administering Summer EBT. Amend RSA 189:68 by inserting after paragraph V the following new paragraph:

VI. Notwithstanding RSA 189:68, I(b), the department of education shall enter into a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the department of health and human services regarding the collection and maintenance of student addresses for the purpose of administering the Summer EBT program pursuant to RSA 161:2, XIII-c. Data collected and transmitted under this paragraph shall be confidential; shall be used exclusively for the administration and distribution of Summer EBT benefits; and shall not be used for any other purpose. The departments shall delete any data received under the MOU upon the completion of the distribution of benefits for the corresponding summer period, unless otherwise required by federal law.

2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
