Amendment to HB 1780

 

Amend the bill by replacing the title with the following:  

 

AN ACT prohibiting the sale of seed more than 36 months after the production date.

 

Amend the bill by replacing all after the enacting clause with the following:  

 

1  Resale of Seed.  Amend RSA 433:4, II(g) to read as follows:  

(g)  To use relabeling stickers without having both the calendar month and year the germination test was completed, the sell by date, as stated in RSA 433:2, III(g), RSA 433:2, V(c), and RSA 433:2, VII(a), and the lot number that matches the existing, original lot number. [Relabeling shall not occur more than once.] Seed shall not be sold more than 36 months from the production date.

2  Effective Date.  This act shall take effect upon its passage.
