Committee of Conference Report on HB 360, prohibiting public schools from performing surgical procedures or prescribing pharmaceutical drugs.

 

Recommendation:  

That the House recede from its position of nonconcurrence with the Senate amendment, and concur with the Senate amendment, and

That the Senate and House adopt the following new amendment to the bill as amended by the Senate, and pass the bill as so amended:  

 

Amend the bill by deleting section 2 and renumbering the original sections 3-4 to read as 2-3, respectively.

AMENDED ANALYSIS

 

This bill:

 

I.  Prohibits public schools from performing surgical procedures or prescribing pharmaceutical drugs.

 

II.  Allows youth camps licensed under this chapter to administer pharmaceutical drugs to minors with the written authorization of a parent or guardian.
