AN ACT relative to the assault of a firefighter, emergency medical care provider, or law enforcement officer.

 

 

Having considered the same, report the same with the following amendment, and the recommendation that the bill as amended ought to pass.

Explanation to Enrolled Bill Amendment to HB 59-FN

 

This enrolled bill amendment makes technical corrections to the bill.

 

 

Enrolled Bill Amendment to HB 59-FN

 

 

Amend the bill by inserting after section 3 the following and renumbering the original section 4 to read as 6, respectively:  

 

4  First Degree Assault; Elements.  Amend RSA 631:1, I(d) to read as follows:  

(d) Knowingly or recklessly causes serious bodily injury to a person under 13 years of age[.]; or

5  Second Degree Assault; Elements.  Amend RSA 631:2, I(f) to read as follows:  

(f)  Purposely or knowingly engages in the strangulation of another[.]; or
