1 Appropriation; Retired Senior Volunteer Program. For the purpose of funding the retired senior volunteer program (RSVP), the sum of $180,000 for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2027, is appropriated to the department of health and human services. The department shall allocate the appropriation among the existing RSVP programs. The governor is authorized to draw a warrant for said sum out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated.

2 Contingency. Section 1 of this act shall be contingent upon certification by the state comptroller to the director of the office of legislative services and the secretary of state that both unrestricted general fund revenues and the ending general fund balance for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2026 were greater than budget forecasts.

3 Effective Date.

I. Section 1 of this act shall take effect as provided in section 2 of this act.

II. The remainder of this act shall take effect upon its passage.
