STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

 

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty-Six

 

AN ACT relative to the definition of hemp.

 

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

 

1  Hemp; Defintions.  RSA 439-A:2, V is repealed and reenacted to read as follows:  

V.  “Hemp” means the plant Cannabis sativa L. and any part of that plant, including the seeds thereof and all derivatives, extracts, cannabinoids, isomers, acids, salts, and salts of isomers, whether growing or not, with a delta-9 tetrahydrocannabinol concentration of not more than 0.3 percent on a dry weight basis.  Total THC concentration shall include the sum of all THC, including tetrahydrocannabinolic acid (THCA).  

2  Effective Date.  This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
