STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

 

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty-Six

 

AN ACT increasing the limit for transfers of appropriations in Carroll County.

 

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

 

1  Carroll County Appropriation Transfer Limit; Increase.  Amend RSA 24:13-d, I to read as follows:  

I.  Prior to the transfer of an appropriation, or any part thereof exceeding [$1,000] $10,000, or an accumulative total exceeding [$1,000] $10,000, from one line item to another, the following procedure shall apply:  a request to transfer an appropriation shall be made in writing, by the department head, whether elected or appointed, to the county commissioners, who, if they approve the same, shall report in writing their recommendation to the executive committee.  

2  Effective Date.  This act shall take effect July 1, 2026.
