STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty-Six
AN ACT relative to the membership, duties, and reporting requirements of the traffic safety commission.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 New Subparagraph; Traffic Safety Commission; Membership. Amend RSA 21-P:64, I(b) by inserting after subparagraph (11) the following new subparagraph:
(12) A member of the trauma medical review committee established under RSA 153-A:8, appointed by the committee.
2 New Paragraph; Traffic Safety Commission; Duty Added. Amend RSA 21-P:64 by inserting after paragraph II the following new paragraph:
II-a. The commission shall review and analyze any available and relevant information and data related to the cause of traffic collisions in New Hampshire.
3 Traffic Safety Commission; Reports. Amend RSA 21-P:64, V to read as follows:
V. The commission shall report annually, beginning November 1, 2018, to the speaker of the house of representatives, the president of the senate, and the governor. The reports shall describe the activities and findings of the commission and any recommendations for proposed legislation. Beginning November 1, 2026, the reports shall include aggregated data on the causes of traffic collisions in New Hampshire for that year and recommendations on how to address these causes.
4 Effective Date. This act shall take effect January 1, 2027.
