ANALYSIS
This bill revises the job title for certain positions in the department of health and human services.
This bill also repeals the prospective repeal of the phase in schedule for appointment of counsel.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty-Six
AN ACT relative to certain unclassified positions in the department of health and human services.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 State Officers; Compensation; Position Title. Amend the following position titles in RSA 94:1-a, I(b) to read as follows:
DD Department of health and human services staff attorney, division for children youth and
services, bureau of general [council] counsel
EE Department of health and human services [supervising staff] lead attorney, division for
children, youth, and families, bureau of
general [council] counsel
FF Department of health and human services supervising regional attorney, division for
children, youth, and families, bureau of
general [council] counsel
2 Repeal. RSA 2024, 296:6, I, relative to the prospective repeal of the phase-in schedule for appointment of counsel, is repealed.
3 Effective Date. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
