STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

 

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty-Six

 

AN ACT relative to change of address for applicants for a gaming facility license.

 

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

 

1  New Paragraph; Facilities License Application; Change of Address.  Amend RSA 287-D:7 by inserting after paragraph III the following new paragraph:  

IV.(a)  An applicant for a facility license with a pending application may amend the application to reflect a change in the physical address of the proposed facility, provided that:  

(1)  The new address is located within the state of New Hampshire; and

(2)  The municipality in which the new address is located has not voted to prohibit the operation of games of chance pursuant to RSA 287-D:4, II or other applicable law.  

(b)  The applicant shall notify the lottery commission in writing of the new address and submit any documentation required by the commission to demonstrate compliance with this section.  

(c)  Upon receipt of such notice, the lottery commission shall have not less than 90 days to evaluate the new address and incorporate its findings into the decision on the pending application.  

(d)  A change of address while an application pending shall not require filling out a new application.  

2  Effective Date.  This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
