Amendment to SB 575

 

Amend the title of the bill by replacing it with the following:  

 

AN ACT establishing a study committee to study the issue of school bullying and modifying the exemption of teacher certification records from the right-to-know law.

 

Amend the bill by inserting after section 5 the following and renumbering the original section 6 to read as 7:  

 

6  Access to Governmental Records and Meetings; Exemptions; Certification Records Modified.  Amend RSA 91-A:5, V to read as follows:  

V. [Teacher] Educator certification records in the department of education, provided that the department shall make available [teacher] educator certification status information.

AMENDED ANALYSIS

 

This bill creates a study committee to study the issue of school bullying.  This bill also modifies the exemption of teacher certification records under RSA 91-A by replacing the term "teacher" with "educator".
