Floor Amendment to SB 583-FN
Amend RSA 186:77-a, I as inserted by section 1 of the bill by replacing it with the following:
I. The department of education shall create an education funding data and transparency reporting system (system). The system shall include a longitudinal data system incorporating, at a minimum, data on basic education trust fund and other education funding allocations, disbursements, and expenditures over the past 10 years disaggregated at the intermediate unit, district, and school levels. The department shall create data visualization dashboards to simulate changes to the funding formula, including changing weights and measures of funding allocations and distributions of funds based on school characteristics. Data visualization dashboards shall be accessible to the appropriate staff at state entities, including the legislature and governor's office.
