Floor Amendment to SB 620-FN

 

Amend the title of the bill by replacing it with the following:  

 

AN ACT relative to refusal of consent to testing to determine alcohol concentration and penalties for aggravated driving while intoxicated and removing Hepatitis B from the list of diseases for which immunization is required under state law.

 

Amend the bill by replacing all after section 5 with the following:  

 

6  Immunization Requirements; Hepatitis B Removed.  Amend RSA 141-C:20-a, I to read as follows:

I.  All parents or legal guardians shall have their children, who are residing in this state, immunized against diphtheria, mumps, pertussis, poliomyelitis, rubella, rubeola, tetanus, varicella, [Hepatitis B,] and Haemophilus influenzae type B (Hib).

7  Effective Date.  

I.  Section 6 of this act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.

II.  The remainder of this act shall take effect January 1, 2027.

AMENDED ANALYSIS

 

This bill:

 

I.  Modifies periods of suspension under different circumstances stemming from a refusal of consent to testing to determine alcohol concentration.

 

II.  Modifies the penalties for aggravated driving while intoxicated.

 

III.  Removes Hepatitis B from the list of diseases for which childhood immunization is required.
