STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

 

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty

 

AN ACT relative to the right-to-know law.

 

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

 

1  Right-to-Know Law; Minutes and Records Available for Public Inspection.  Amend RSA 91-A:4, VII to read as follows:

VII.  Nothing in this chapter shall be construed to require a public body or agency to compile, cross-reference, or assemble information into a form in which it is not already kept or reported by that body or agency.  Nothing in this chapter shall be construed to allow an incarcerated individual the right to in-person inspection of any governmental document stored outside the correctional facility.

2  Effective Date.  This act shall take effect January 1, 2021.
