This bill requires persons using physical facilities to transfer 30 or more animals to be licensed as a pet vendor.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

 

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty-Six

 

AN ACT relative to licensure as a pet vendor.

 

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

 

82:1  New Paragraph; Licensed Pet Vendors.  Amend RSA 437:3 by inserting after paragraph IV the following new paragraph:  

IV-a. No physical facility shall be used by multiple people, firms, corporations, or other entities, when the combined number of animals transferred exceeds 30 or more dogs, 30 or more cats, 30 or more ferrets, or 50 or more birds or live animals customarily used as household pets, unless one of the people, firms, corporations, or other entity is a licensed pet vendor.

82:2  Effective Date.  This act shall take effect 45 days after its passage.
