STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty-Six
AN ACT relative to donations received by the granite patron of the arts fund.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 Council on the Arts; State Art Fund; Granite Patron of the Arts Fund. Amend RSA 19-A:9, II to read as follows:
II. The division and the council are authorized to institute programs to solicit and receive any gifts, grants, donations, or to receive federal matching funds made for the encouragement of the arts and to deposit such gifts, grants, or donations in the New Hampshire council on the arts fund under this section. The division and the council shall acknowledge receipt of any gifts, grants, or donations within 15 days of receipt on a form provided by the commissioner of the department of revenue administration. Donations greater than or equal to $50,000 shall require the approval of the governor and executive council. Expenditures greater than or equal to $50,000, and expenditures on employees of the division, shall require the approval of the governor, executive council, and the fiscal committee of the general court.
III. Quarterly expenditure reports shall be filed with the governor, executive council, and the fiscal committee of the general court.
2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
